Established in Truth

Learning to See Yourself

Through God's Eyes

"I have called you by name; you are mine."

Isaiah 43:1
Scripture Girl

There is often a gap between what we know and what we truly believe.

Most believers know God loves them.
Most know they are forgiven.
Most know they are God's children.

Yet many still struggle with fear, insecurity, shame, striving, anxiety, or old patterns of thinking.

Why? Because transformation happens when truth moves beyond information and becomes part of how we think, believe, and live.

That process is what Scripture Girl has always been about.

Not merely learning Scripture.
Living from it.

Not simply hearing truth.
Becoming established in it.

Not just knowing who God says you are.
Actually believing it.

The Greek word often translated "confession" literally means "to say the same thing."

Biblical confession is agreement. It is choosing to agree with God.

When God says you are loved, you agree.
When God says you are forgiven, you agree.
When God says you are His child, you agree.
When God says Christ lives in you, you agree.

Over time, truth begins to replace old patterns of thinking.

What once felt foreign begins to feel natural.

You stop merely knowing Scripture.

You begin living it.

The Scripture Girl Declaration

One of the tools I created for myself was something I eventually called The Scripture GIrl Declaration.

It is simply a collection of Scriptures that helped me focus my attention on what God was saying rather than what fear, circumstances, past experiences, or the world were saying.

The power was never in the document itself.
The power is in God's Word.

The Declaration simply became one way of meditating on that truth, speaking it, and allowing it to take deeper root.
